Career Path is a feature that allows for users issued training be given training in an order specified by Marco's.
When you are first invited to MUO (on ExpandShare), you will be given given a role. This role will determine the overall training you will receive.
Training is assigned to you in incremental steps, starting with Guest Ambassador training. This first stage includes training such as orientation. When you have completed the training specifically for Guest Ambassador, you can then unlock the training for Insiders, and so on. The same logic is used to unlock the training for Driver, Shift Leader, Assistant Manager, and Manager.
By default, the training ahead of the current role being trained is locked, and only shows once your training and skill checks have been completed, but this can be overridden on a per user basis. Managers have the permission to go to individual users and unlock their training if needed. (Users do not have permission to do this to their own accounts.)
You can find your own Career Path on the profile page. You can even click on the different blips to get an idea of the Learning Tracks that will be unlocked in each role.
The Career Path has 3 different states a certification can be in.
This first is "Complete", this is shown on the path as a green checkmark. This represents that all courses associated with this role have been completed. The second is "In-Progress", which is shown with a blue clock icon. This indicates that either the user has unlocked the content, or could be 99% done with it. The last is a Future Certification, shown as a grey circle on the path.
